Maxim moves to Turkey on loan
Romanian still has hopes of making the EUROs with his national side
Alexandru Maxim will move on loan until the end of the season to Turkish first team side Gaziantep FK. The midfielder has joined the side in search of more first team action. The Romanian international had only made six short appearances for FSV so far this season.
“Alex came to us and asked for a move so he could gain more first team football. He still has hopes of making EURO 2020 with Romania through the playoffs and doesn’t want to miss out on that. We spoke with him, as well as with Dong-Won Ji who is fully capable of filling in for him in this position,” said Sporting Director Rouven Schröder.
