DFL schedules first eight fixtures of the season

The Zerofivers start the season away at Leipzig – Four home games at the traditional kick-off time

The Deutsche Fußball Liga (DFL) announced the times and dates of the first eight fixtures of the 2020/21 Bundesliga season on Friday afternoon. The opening weekend will see Mainz travel to Leipzig on 20th September (15:30 CEST).

The first four games at the OPEL ARENA against Stuttgart, Leverkusen, Möchengladbach and Schalke will all kick off on a Saturday afternoon at 15:30 CEST. As usual, the first game of the DFB-Pokal will take place on the weekend prior to the first Bundesliga fixtures, with our opponents being the winner of Sunday’s final between BSV SW Rehden and TSV Havelse (15:00 CEST).
