Brosinski in the Bundesliga Home Challenge
Mainz 05 take on Dortmund on Saturday evening.
The Bundesliga is taking a break due to previously unforeseen circumstances, so the pros are keeping fit at home. But Mainz 05 are back in action on Saturday, albeit online. This weekend, the “Bundesliga home challenge” kicks off. 26 teams from the top two tiers of German football take the PlayStation 4 to duke it out in the virtual world.
Thumbs are being warmed up for consoles throughout Germany being fired up on Saturday. Each team has (or will) nominate one member of the first team to play alongside one supporter or club member on FIFA 20. At 17:00 CET, Mainz 05 take on Borussia Dortmund to start the competition. Daniel Brosinski will represent FSV, and he’ll be joined by Zerofivers’ fan Julian Greis, from FifaGoalsUnited. BVB have not yet named their duo for the tournament; we’re eagerly awaiting the surprise.
Brosi has used his time at home to train hard for the competition and is raring to go; “if you can’t go outside for a kickabout, the PS4 is a good alternative. I’m really excited!”
The games will all, of course, be played in 85+ mode. They’re also available live on 05ER.tv, with German commentary.
